Because plants need certain minimum and maximum requirements to survive, they can be provided with the necessary measuring equipment. For example: pH, EC and TDS meters indicate water quality. In millimetres and litres we measure nutrient solutions. Lux meters indicate luminous intensity, thermo-hygrometers indicate air temperature and humidity. Weighing scales show mass, etc.
