Magnesium

Magnesium is a vital element for the plant, it is the central atom in chlorophyll and so is essential in photosynthesis. In addition to this, magnesium influences other pigments and physiological processes.

Liquid Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) can be directly absorbed by the plant and its effects can be seen quickly.

Mononutrients

CANNA’s mononutrients should be used if there is a shortage or urgent shortage of nutritional elements. Use prevents and compensates for nutrient deficiencies and in this way makes high yields safe.

Calcium, magnesium, iron and a mix of trace elements are available as well as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium which are the main nutritional elements. You should regard mononutrients as medicine that should only be used when it is really necessary.

Magnesium Directions of Use

This mineral fertilizer contains 7% MgO and 14% SO3.
Liquid Epsom salts cannot be mixed with fertilizers that contain calcium when it is in its concentrated form.

Application

● To be applied as a magnesium fertilizer in the case of a magnesium deficiency.
● As a supplementary remedy to stimulate growth and flowering.
● Administer with the nutrient solution or by foliar feeding

Dosage

1-2 ml per litre of water.

Warning

A good fertilizer will contain all the essential elements in the correct proportions. Excessive magnesium can lead to calcium deficiencies. Therefore, proceed with caution when determining the dose; an overdose could be harmful to the plant!
