Iron

Iron is a vital element for the plant, it has a role in chlorophyll and plays a major role in photosynthesis. In addition, it has considerable influence on the physiological processes and energy management.

Mononutrients

CANNA’s mononutrients should be used if there is a shortage or urgent shortage of nutritional elements. Use prevents and compensates for nutrient deficiencies and in this way makes high yields safe.

Calcium, magnesium, iron and a mix of trace elements are available as well as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium which are the main nutritional elements. You should regard mononutrients as medicine that should only be used when it is really necessary.

Iron Directions of Use

Liquid iron chelates can be immediately absorbed by the plant, mixed with all fertilizers and are stable with all common pH values.

Application

● To be used as an iron fertilizer when there is an iron deficiency.
● As a supplementary remedy to stimulate growth and flowering.

Dosage

Maintenance dose: 1:1500 => (10 mm/l) 0.75 ml/litre
Moderate deficiency: 1:1000 => (15 mm/l) 1 ml/litre
Serious deficiency: 1:500 => (30 mm/l) 2 ml/litre.

Warning

A good fertilizer will contain all the essential elements in the correct proportions. An excess of iron will not damage the plant but obstructs the absorption of phosphate. Therefore, proceed with caution when determining the dose.

Fe contains 0.06% iron (0.03% Fe-DTPA & 0.03% Fe-EDDHA).
